Judge was the son of Jeremiah Goolsby and Mary Polly Wood. Judge died about 1856 in Texas.(3) Family stories say that Judge was hung for stealing horses, and that after he was hung it was realized that he was not the thief. The year of his death is estimated from tax records and Camely's second marriage.
She married William J. Lindsey in Smith County, Texas, September 3, 1857.(4) William was born in Tennessee about 1834. William was the son of Thomas R. Lindsey and Jane --?--. William died 1884 in Rains County, Texas, at 50 years of age.(5) Based on tax records, William died between 1884 and 1885. He was listed on the 1884 tax roll, but in 1885 his wife, Camely, was listed.
She married Elisha Stanley in Cooke County, TX, September 20, 1888.(6) Elisha was born in Texas December 1830. Elisha died after 1900.

He married twice. He married Martha Jane Bearden in Texas, about 1867.(10) Martha was born in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia September 1, 1854.(11) Martha was the daughter of Simon W. Bearden and Martha Clark. Martha died December 5, 1911 in Wood County, Texas, at 57 years of age.(12) Her body was interred in Wood County, Texas, at Mt. 4. Jeremiah Marr2 Goolsby (Camelia1 Allred) was born in Wood County, Texas January 25, 1856. Jeremiah died November 29, 1931 in Silver Lake Community, Van Zandt County, Texas, at 75 years of age. He died in the home of his daughter, Lula (Goolsby) Prestidge.
Not long before his death, he was visiting his daughter, Eula Marshall, when she was living in Sunset, Texas. He told her of a vision he had about his funeral. He told her that they would carry his casket to the cemetery on a wagon and all of the grandchildren would sit on it for the trip except for her son, Aubrey. He told her who all would be there and what would happen. He also told her he wouldn't really be dead when he was buried, but not to do anything because that was just the way things were to be. Eula had forgotten about this until after the funeral, but then she realized his description of the funeral was accurate and Aubrey didn't ride on the wagon with the other grandchildren.
His body was interred in Van Zandt County, Texas, at Prairie Springs Cemetery.
He married four times. He married Mary Margret Turner in Cooke County, TX, November 29, 1874.(26) Mary was born in Cooke County, TX May 3, 1857.(27) Mary was the daughter of George William Turner and Sarah Frances Goodnight. Mary died January 28, 1897 in Cooke County, TX, at 39 years of age. The location of her grave is unknown. The last persons to know the exact site were her son, Willis Goolsby, and his son, John Robert Goolsby, but they never recorded the site. It is known that the grave is unmarked and is just off the highway between Gainesville and Whitesboro. The cemetery at Whitesboro fits the description and since she and her husband lived near Whitesboro, it is likely she is buried there.

One family story suggests that Leatha Cedarholm had visited with James Perry Howard's half-brother, Marion Hardin, and during the visit it was alluded to the fact that James was not Elmer's father. No other information about the mismatch between Elmer's birth date and the marriage date of his parents was ever exchanged in the family. Elmer died July 24, 1963 in Texas, at 68 years of age. He married Bessie Elizabeth Kuykendall after 1917. Jesse L. Flowers, 55, 2702 Colquitt, suffered a heart attack early Sunday morning and was dead on arrival at Wichita General Hospital.
Born Feb. 1 1903 in Ninnekah, Okla, Flowers lived in Wichita Falls since 1920. He was a guard at Panhandle Refinery and a street car motorman during the 1920's.
Funeral arrangements, under the direction of Hampton Vaughn Merkle Funeral Home are incomplete.
He was a member of the Faith Village Church of Christ.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Ruby Flowers, Wichita Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Judson, Phoenix, Az; a son, Gayland D. Flowers, W.F.; three brothers, Charlie Flowers, Quanah; Horace Flowers, Lubbock; Jim Flowers, Pleasanton; a sister, Mrs. Neoma Yancy, WF.
